Closed due to rain

Rain rain go away

We would love to be open at the moment as it is an important time in the season for everyones event preparation.  However as can be seen with so many event cancellations, the ground is very wet.  We have to close because.

  • No one ones big holes in front of the fences, especially when they get filled with water.
  • No one wants ti school in muddy conditions.
  • Young horses are better if their first introduction to schooling is on good going.
  • Overuse the ground when it is wet and pay for it when it dries.  No one wants rutted / bare ground when it dries up.
  • We continuously monitor the ground, and as with the other local schooling venues, close when we have to.
